CheckMyVA (Check my voice assistant) aims to improve the data sovereignty of voice assistant users. To this end, a platform designed according to the principle, “Design for All,” will be created to support consumers in exercising their GDPR rights. Methodologically, the project relies on a Living Lab with a qualitative sample of about 30 households.
Fraunhofer FIT coordinates the project and contributes its expertise in the field of user-centered software development for the conception and evaluation in the context of the Living Labs. The University of Siegen contributes its expertise in usable privacy and digital consumer analytics and implements the platform in cooperation with the start-up, open.INC.
